Switchable Glass Technology and Types: A beginner Guide

Electric glass with variable transparency is getting popularity worldwide. They are now actively conquering the market. Hence, we can say they are an example of the effective use of high innovations in everyday life. Another name for this development, widely known to both professionals and ordinary people, is “smart” smart glass, the transparency of which we can easily adjust.

What is the difference between traditional and electric glass?

The use of traditional glass in interior decoration is still in vogue. Practical and profitable from the point of view of operation, the material has a unique combination of characteristics that determine its relevance.

Suffice it to note the transparency and light transmittance. Moreover, in recent years, interest in electrochromic products has increased.

These are “smart glasses”, the features of which include the ability to change transparency. But the properties of this material are not limited to this quality either. In practice, users also emphasize increased energy-saving qualities, durability and aesthetic appearance.

What tasks can smart glass perform?

“Smart” designs are multifunctional, capable of acting as utilitarian design elements, due to solid strength and practicality, and as decorative products, due to their aesthetic appearance. There are many options for using glasses with variable transparency:
Partitions in office premises – they allow you to create a confidential atmosphere, which is especially important when conducting important negotiations;
An alternative to curtains and blinds at home – glasses with variable transparency are excellent for UV protection and zoning of a single space;
Screen for the projector – the electric glass surface allows you to transfer images with high definition;
Facade glazing of buildings for various purposes – glasses with adjustable transparency look very impressive, plus they allow you to organize a comfortable zone for rest and work at any time at the request of the user.

This product is also widely applicable as a replacement for the classic laminated glass in banks, exhibition halls and studios, where increased requirements are imposed on the mechanical qualities of partitions and windows.

Is switchable glass expensive?

The price of the issue
Like many “smart” technologies, “smart glass” is an expensive pleasure. A square meter of film costs an average of 2000 usd, that is, a small partition will cost 1347 usd and more expensive.

What can you save on?

On glass – no need
Triplex, of course, more expensive than ordinary glass: the material is twice as much, and it must be glued. However, you must also remember that this is a film (despite the assurances of the manufacturer). And the difference in the cost of triplex and ordinary glass is quite small against the background of the final price of the product.

On non-standard – quite
The more wishes “to order”, the more expensive the product. If you choose electric glass, white film, you will get a standard glass size. Moreover, it will be easier (cheaper) for the manufacturer to fulfill your order. In addition, you will not have to overpay for an “exclusive”.

Electric Glass Technology

A dozen years ago, one could not even imagine that glass would become “smart” and would change its transparency in the blink of an eye, at the request of the user. Today it has become a real and easily realized opportunity, because smart glass has appeared on the market.

This material has many different names – glass, endowed with varying properties, electrochromic, and travel smart glass.

It appeared in human life relatively recently: In the eighties of the last century, such a development appeared in Japan. The inhabitants of this country have always tried to make every effort to make their housing as comfortable. They were convenient and ergonomic as possible.

That is why they have developed a way that helps you use glass in a wide variety of areas of your home while still being able to provide privacy when needed. The technology got name as LC and is currently owned by Hitachi.

With the development of technology, other types of “electric glass has appeared – for example, in America such glass appears that darkens under the influence of electricity signals. Further, the progress spread to other countries – today you can buy smart glass almost everywhere, including here.

What is smart glass and how is it made?

The production of smart ( electrochromic ) glass is essentially a combination of two different materials: glass and chemicals. This symbiosis makes it possible to obtain a translucent structure at the exit. Furthermore, it can change its optical properties:

  • Haze level.
  • Light transmittance.
  • Heat absorption rate and others.

This happens mainly from a signal supplied by an electric current. Sometimes glass changes its properties on its own, in response to changes in temperature or light levels.

Smart glass is the brainchild of high technology. It is a special electrochromic film based on liquid crystals. The production consists in the fact that the glass sheet combines with two layers of this film – between them there are particles of liquid crystals.

In the off state, the glass will look dull white, as crystals are randomly scattered around the entire perimeter.

When an electrical signal arrives at the structure, the particles take on a special position. Moreover, they become parallel to the electric field. So they “part” and begin to transmit light: the canvas becomes transparent and slightly dull.

Where are smart glasses used?

Electric glass has an amazing ability to change its transparency, so it is most often applicable in the following areas:

  • Glazing of facades. Apartments with windows, country cottages, terraces, winter gardens and offices – in all these objects the function of changing the level of transparency is indispensable. Hosts can enjoy the sunshine and openness whenever they want and indulge in privacy when the situation calls for it.
  • Equipping shop windows and advertising screens.
  • Installation of partitions in dressing rooms of gyms, swimming pools, massage, medical and beauty rooms, treatment rooms.
  • Equipment for conference rooms, meeting rooms, offices, banks, and other workspaces where confidentiality is required.
  • Automotive glass production (interior for taxis).
  • Arrangement of individual booths in restaurants, hotels, entertainment complexes and so on.

What properties does electric glass have?

Glass endowed with variable properties is becoming more and more popular. In addition to the ability to change transparency, it also has the following properties:

  • Controlling the level of light in the room.
  • Replacing curtains or blinds.
  • Ensuring confidentiality.
  • Protection against the negative effects of ultraviolet rays (in a transparent state).
  • Durability, reliability and durability.
  • Convenience and ease of use: Smart glass can be good to wash in the same way as usual, using any detergent.
  • The ability to increase the impact resistance of the canvas with a special film and even order bulletproof smart glasses.

What are the technical characteristics of smart glass?

Before making a purchase of an electric glass product, you should familiarize yourself with its main technical characteristics:

  • The power consumption of smart glass is seven watts per square meter of canvas.
  • The products can operate in systems where the voltage is 110 volts at AC.
  • The process of switching from opaque to transparent lasts no more than one second.
  • Electrochromic glass can work normally in conditions where the temperature does not drop below 25 degrees below zero and does not rise above 60 degrees Celsius.
  • The light transmission in the matt state is about 80 percent.
  • When turned on, the transparency of the glass will exceed 80 percent.

Where is smart glass used?

Scope of application

Glass with variable transparency is applicable in various fields. The structure can be good to design and manufactured taking into account the needs of the customer: as a window, a partition for zoning a space or a full glass wall.

Electric glass for windows is applicable in the interior design of:

  • Offices
  • meeting rooms
  • conference room
  • for equipping workplaces for employees of shops
  • ticket offices
  • bank employees and other institutions

Products based on smart glasses are common in interior solutions for cafes, restaurants and bars. Partitions from them protect the exhibits of museums and art galleries from the sun’s rays.

The adjustable level of opacity of the glass surface allows the use of this material in the automotive industry: for creating internal partitions, inserts into hatches.

Partitions and windows with smart glass are widely famous in the interior design of private houses and cottages. They are applicable for glazing rooms, loggias, attics and effective zoning of space.

Smart Glass is a New Reality in the Glass Industry

Smart glass is not a new topic in the window market. The use of glass with switchable transparency is becoming popular in the architectural environment and reflects current trends in the development of interactive devices.

This ultra-modern design element gears towards high-tech advances, and what seemed incredible a few years ago is now becoming reality.

What are the types of smart window technologies known to be available?

Types and technologies of Smart glasses

The method of making smart glasses was invented more than 20 years ago and is constantly improving. And only now there is a trend for its mass use. Consumers are generally unaware of the existence of such an invention and cannot afford it.

Electric glass technologies have undergone changes over the years. Furthermore, they began to consume less energy and their cost is decreasing every year, which makes it possible to bring the product to the masses in the future.

Smart glass technology

It comes by triplexing 2 or more sheets of glass. The laminating films used for its production divides into three types by technology:

  • EVA – ethylene vinyl acetate film. Its main advantage is the low cost of both the EVA film itself and the equipment for its production. It has good adhesion to plastic and glass, but has a high degree of turbidity and low strength.
  • PVB is a polyvinyl butyral film. A distinctive feature is that it has a high quality at the output, but at the start – a high production cost. PVB film adheres well to glass, but poorly to plastic. And just like EVA film, (PVB) does not withstand high humidity conditions.
  • TPU – Thermoplastic polyurethane film. It is most suitable for the production of smart glass. Moreover, TPU film is immune to moisture, aggressive conditions, plus it has high adhesion to both glass and plastic.

Smart glass based on liquid crystal polymer particles (PDLC or LCD)

PDLC and LCD glass comes on the basis of a liquid mixture of polymer crystals located among two layers of glass with an electrically conductive coating and forming a layer of variable transparency.

Liquid crystal particles disintegrate into their constituents, and then turn into a solid state. Thus, liquid particles and solid polymer are incompatible, thereby forming inclusions in the polymer. Without electricity, they are chaotically located, light scatters, passing through them, and such glass acquires a matte shade.

It can be milky white, milky gray or milky blue. When the electricity turns on, the LCD particles change their position, all as one stand vertically in relation to the glass. And it becomes transparent or translucent, depending on the possibility of the supplied electricity, and the enlightenment can be easy to segment.

Electric glass based on “suspended particles” (SPD)

The SPD method uses “suspended particles” that come between two layers of electrically conductive coating. SPD film is almost similar in structure to LCD. But thanks to the layered rod-like particle structure, SPD glass smart panels are visually open in different states.

When the voltage is off, it is black or dark blue, when the power is applied, the particles align together, and the light can pass unhindered, and it becomes transparent. The switching speed at which it changes color from dark to light blue or gray is almost instantaneous (2-3 sec.).

What is a smart glass and how does it work?

Electric glass mechanism is quite simple, although the technology involved is very advanced. The smart glass comprises two sheets of glass separated by a film of liquid crystal polymer responsive to electricity.

When turned off, the smart glass presents itself as a translucent white partition on which high definition images can be easy to project. When turned on, the electric current organizes the polymers and the structure becomes totally transparent.

How to apply this new material in construction projects?

The electric glass can be applicable in various types of residential and corporate design. See below:

Corporate projects

They are very interesting for several features. For example, it is common as a projection screen for the program logo. The moment the program edition wants to show the writing team at work, behind the presenters, the screen is turned on and the projection disappears.

This can be very useful for businesses, as a wall or a sidewall can be applicable both as a showcase and as a marketing sign. In offices in general, they can be install in private rooms. When it is necessary to have a more intimate meeting, the glass is easy to turn off.

In hospitals, they can bring more biosafety. Partitions are usually made of fabric. This material is very adherent to bacteria and, therefore, difficult to sanitize. Smart glass, on the other hand, has a microscopically smooth surface, making cleaning much easier and reducing microbial adhesion.

Residential Projects

In residential projects they can be applicable in different environments. For example, there are smart glasses that are integrated with photoelectric relays and, therefore, are responsive to sunlight or artificial light. This improves visual comfort within the building automatically.

Also, they can be good for partitions. It is important when you need more privacy or making a projection just turns off the glass which can also serve only as a projection screen. Because it is considerably smoother and flatter than traditional projection screens, the exposed images are much sharper.

What are the advantages of smart glass over traditional frames?

We can have many benefits to the project at several different points, such as:

Innovation

When you add a high-tech element to your project, a lot of value adds up. Innovation is a capital that has been highly valued lately in architecture and construction, as it helps its client to differentiate itself.

Energy saving

Light-responsive electric glass can precisely control the amount of light in the room. This reduces the need for artificial light due to the use of curtains and other elements that obstruct the sun’s rays.

In addition, smart panels reduce heating by the sun’s rays, bringing less demand for air conditioning by air conditioning and, consequently, more sustainability, thermal comfort and energy efficiency.

Visual comfort

With the ideal amount of light, the risk that the lighting is insufficient or excessive for users of the environment is reduced. Since the constant need to adapt the eyes can cause headache and discomfort.

Therefore, smart glass is a trend that is expected to grow even more in the coming years. In this way, it will transform the civil construction scene and bring buildings much closer to those seen in science fiction films.

How much does Switchable electric glass cost?

The technology is quite popular in Europe, but the domestic market in this segment is still in its infancy. Accordingly, there are not so many professional manufacturers who guarantee the quality of the product. In the initial class, the price of glasses with adjustable transparency is about 2500 usd for 5 m 2.

This means that for this amount, the relevant company will perform glazing with an area of 5 m 2. The average volume of orders usually calculates for 10-20 m 2, while the thickness of the glass can also vary depending on the working area.

The cheapest option can be be 4 mm glass without special coatings – these are the so-called raw single-chamber bags.  The average price of glasses in this design is already about 60 thousand, counting on the design of 10 m 2.

How does electronic glass work?

To obtain smart glass with variable transparency, manufacturers use triplexing technology:

  • The basis of the product is triplex – a three-layer structure made of sheets of ordinary glass or polycarbonate, between which a polymer LCD film installs;
  • outside, on both sides, the sheets are covered with a protective film, which prevents the material from scattering into fragments upon impact;
  • Another important element of smart glass is a conductive layer that creates an electric field that acts on the crystals.

The operational characteristics of the finished structure depend on exactly how the layers are arranged. Material variations generally differ in the type of laminate applicable.

Modifications come with variable or adjustable transparency. In contrast to the simply changing transparency, which changes dramatically: from transparent to matte and vice versa, the adjustable version allows you to change the degree of matte in halftones.

The user can set the degree of transparency that suits him: nothing is visible through the glass surface, only blurry outlines are visible, as if you are looking through a dull veil, everything is visible, etc. Variable level of transparency of windows or other designs based on smart glasses adjustable by increasing or decreasing the applied voltage.

How do electrochromic materials work?

The production of electric glass with the ability to adjust transparency performs using the triplexing technology. That is, several sheets of material are initially prepared, which will later form the basis of the product.

In this case, the base layers can be good to represent by both ordinary glass and polycarbonate.

The combination of the layering of layers with different characteristics determines the performance, which comes with “smart glasses” in one or another modification. Most often, material variations differ in the type of laminate applicable.

So, there are modifications with ethylene vinyl acetate and polyvinyl butyral films. Also, especially for harsh operating conditions, manufacturers produce products with a protective coating based on thermoplastic polyurethane.

How much electricity does electric glass use?

The PDLC-based product has adjustable transparency and consume about 4-5W of electricity. per m2, transparency or opacity is achieved in 5 seconds.

How do you make glass not see through?

In the past, these materials, these products had a more reflective appearance, focused more on the mirrored aspect. Currently, it is possible to achieve a more neutral appearance. ”

But what about sunscreen glass?

“It is nothing more than a current term applicable in the market to refer to these glasses that have a decrease in heat into the environment.”

As you can see, there are still many doubts about solar control glasses.

Now unravel the 6 most common myths about this type of product!

  1. The more reflective the glass, the more it protects from heat?

Myth. Glass is capable of spreading more infrared rays, allowing more visible light rays to pass through. Selective or low-e glass (low-e).

  1. Does reflective glass darken the environment?

Myth . There is a range of mirrored glass with more or less light transmission. In an office where most of the day the curtains are closed, darker glass would be ideal, thus expanding the view of the landscape.

  1. Does solar control glass save energy?

Truth . Studies show that savings on air conditioning and electric lighting are around R $ 30 to R $ 40 per square meter of glass. This makes solar control glass a sustainable product.

  1. Mirrored glass always gives privacy?

Myth. In fact, electric glass is popular to provide privacy, and whoever is outside cannot see inside the building.

But this only works during the daytime, when the light outside is much greater than inside.

This makes it ideal for solutions such as façade cladding, as it hides imperfections and requires low maintenance.

Is mirrored glass for commercial work?

Myth. The most neutral sun protection glasses have gained space in Europe in residential projects, thanks to luminous comfort, energy savings and sustainability.

Some argue that even the most reflective sun protection glasses have their charm.

Are mirrored glass and reflective film different?

Truth. Mirrored or solar control glass receives metallization already in the production process.

The film applies later. It is a more expensive solution when compared to products with the same performance and warranty, but it is economical in case of renovations.

Solar control glass is ideal for all types of projects!

What can smart glasses do?

The original technical and operational qualities of such glasses are determined by the structure of the material. In essence, it is formed by composites representing several layers, including transparent and opaque layers.

This product is also known to the end consumer as Smart Window glazing, which allows changing the degree of transparency thanks to the liquid crystal interlayer. This film contains special crystals that work from the mains.

The usual mode of operation assumes a chaotic order of organization of these elements – during visual inspection, the dullness of the surface can be good to note.

Applying an electric current organizes the crystals so that the structure begins to become transparent. The ability to transmit sunlight, as a rule, is maintained regardless of the power supply. Standard window glass of this type allows up to 80% permeability even in a matt state.

Can you see through privacy electric glass at night?

Thanks to the windows, sunlight enters the room, making it bright and comfortable. However, there are times when the location of the windows contributes to excessive lighting, and the sun’s rays become bothersome. A good solution to this problem can be electric glass windows, the use of which will help to cope with excess light.

Why do you need tinting in an apartment?

Everyone knows that tinted windows are a fashionable, modern accessory for facade decoration.

Window tinting, mirrored, colored or brown, gives an apartment, home or office a unique, stylish look, both indoors and outdoors. Imagine sunlight shining through the brown tint, filling the room with golden tones.

In addition, tinting of PVC windows can give a mirror effect to the window. A similar tinting of double-glazed windows is applicable for glazing offices, private houses and apartments. Tinted glass “under the mirror” allows you to remain invisible.

At the same time, you will see absolutely everything. They are ideal tint films even for the first floor if you prefer not to use curtains or drapes. In addition, you can tint not only windows in a building, but also interior doors and windows.

For example, you can make a spectacular glass door to the bathroom. The mirror tinted film makes your dreams come true. Another advantage of tinting plastic windows is the direct purpose of this element, that is, protection from sunlight.

Transparency and UV protection

If the window glass is tinted correctly, by qualified specialists using tint films for high quality windows, then the room will not be darkened. However, ultraviolet light will no longer get into it.

Tinted glass will prevent wallpaper and furniture from fading, as well as give the room comfort.

In addition, tinted plastic windows have anti-glare characteristics. If you work at a computer or watch TV all day long, then even the sunniest day will not interfere with you with tinted glass units.

Tinting as window protection

You should also tint the window because tinting PVC windows allows for maximum durability. Tinting protects the glass from chips and cracks that can form from heavy objects. Such an anti-vandal surface is necessary if you are going to leave home for a long time, if you live on the first floors, if you are glazing in a country residence.

Correct tinting of windows takes place only in the factory, so you cannot simply purchase tinted films from us. Sale takes place only complete with plastic windows.

Window Tinting Technology

For tinting windows, as a rule, a special tinting film is applicable. The use of special technologies when applying such a film guarantees complete protection of the glass from various dust particles falling under the film or the appearance of air bubbles.

Since the electric glass is applied to the inner glass of the window, various negative weather influences are not terrible for it, and the service life of the tinted window will be quite long.

Window decoration with tinting

The color range of tinted windows is very diverse – depending on the general design of the room and the personal preferences of the customer, you can choose almost any shade of tinted glass.

Toning can be not only monochromatic, but also made in the form of various patterns, which makes it possible to use tinted windows also as decorative elements.

What type of window is best for a bathroom?

The fixtures, and therefore the glass for windows and doors, are indispensable elements for isolating homes and offices from all sorts of atmospheric agents, from the cold of winter and the heat of summer.

Having good electric glass, and good fixtures, helps to insulate the interior, preserving the microclimate of the rooms and creating an advantageous energy saving.

Replacing the fixtures involves a considerable initial economic expense but which will be recovered over the years, it is an intelligent and above all long-lasting purchase.

When you are going to change the fixtures you have to keep in mind some parameters, namely:

  • type of glass for windows and fixtures;
  • The type of opening of windows or doors;
  • type of material (wood, aluminum, PVC, combined);
  • place where the frame is placed.

Types of glass for windows

Almost every window or door has a glass. The windows of the house usually have transparent glass, or at most blackout if the situation requires it. For example, there are doors or windows in pvc, in the kitchen or in the living room, which also require the presence of blinds, to avoid being observed from the outside.

You could solve it with curtains, but they are not always welcome or effective. In some cases it is a solution largely avoided, such as in offices, where an environment with attention to detail is required.

The possible types of glass are:

  • Double glazing. Double glass, for greater thermal insulation;
  • Low emissivity glasses;
  • Soundproof glass, which combined with PVC windows represent an optimal choice against noise pollution;
  • Safety glasses, ideal in homes if there are children or elderly people. In the event of a violent impact, it prevents the release of sharp fragments;
  • Reflective glasses, which reflect the sun’s rays outwards;
  • Solar control glass, able to repel heat during the sultry days of the year.

Smart Glass Film Installation

Electric glass tinting in residential and office premises is increasingly in demand. And this is due to the solution of a wide range of problems by fairly simple methods with little cost.

At the moment, there are several of the most popular types of films on the market, so before buying it is worth figuring out: how are they different?

Types of films

Sunscreen

Sun protection films are usually installed on the south side of the house. Glasses with such films reflect part of the solar energy. As a result, the room does not get so hot on a sunny day, and there is no glare on TV screens and computer monitors.

Mirrored

If your apartment is on the ground floor or an apartment building is built nearby and the neighbour’s windows are located in the immediate vicinity of yours, you have to keep the curtains drawn constantly.

In this case, the installation of tinting with a mirror effect (the so-called one-sided visibility) will help. With its help, it will be impossible to view the room from the outside. But only in the daytime. In the evening or at night, when the illumination inside is much brighter than outside, this effect disappears.

Electric glass are Protective

Another remarkable effect of tint films is the protective function. Protective films will be able to protect premises from unauthorized burglary due to their anti-shock properties. Depending on the modification of the film, the glass can either be completely unbreakable, or you need to exert enough force to break it.

In addition, if kids accidentally break a window in the children’s room, the glass will break into large pieces, which will protect them from cuts.

Matt

If glass partitions are built in an apartment or office, matte solutions can improve the functionality of these structures at the lowest cost. To limit transparency, instead of frosted glasses, you can install ordinary ones and paste over them with matte tint films.

This method, among other things, will protect office staff from injury when partitions are destroyed. And the economic benefit of using films instead of using expensive special glasses is obvious.

In our world, any phenomenon has its pros and cons. This also applies to tint films. In addition to the undeniable advantages, there are also disadvantages. For example, twilight in your apartment will come a little earlier than in your neighbors.

This is due to the limited bandwidth of the tinted window. The second disadvantage can be easy to consider the ability to transmit light radiation of only a certain spectrum. If, for example, you use a film of silver shades, then the interior items in the room will be in gray tones.

Self-installation of Tinting Films

Required tools

For pasting windows, you need the following tools and accessories:

  • construction or office knife
  • rubber spatula
  • spray bottle with soapy water
  • tint film of proper quality

Gluing process of electric glass

The pasting itself consists of two stages – preparation and installation of the film itself. The most important thing is to take your time and carefully follow the recommendations given.

  1. Roll out a roll of film on a hard, flat surface and use a knife and a ruler to cut the required size. Leave a few centimeters around the perimeter.
  2. Thoroughly clean the glass surface from grease, sand, dust and other contaminants. To do this, moisten the glass abundantly with soapy water, and then remove the solution with a rubber spatula. Repeat two to three times for best effect.
  3. Let’s go directly to pasting. Moisten a clean prepared surface with plenty of soapy water.
  4. Carefully remove the liner (protective layer) from the film. This operation is best done together.
  5. To temporarily neutralize the adhesive layer of the film, moisten it abundantly with a spray bottle. In this case, installing the film on the window will be much easier, because it will not involuntarily stick to the glass.
  6. Apply the film to the top of the glass with the adhesive base and gently smooth it over the entire surface with smooth movements of your palms. Make sure the tint covers the entire window surface.
  7. Using a rubber spatula, smooth the film from the center outward to remove moisture using gentle pressure.

Finally, carefully cut off the protruding parts of the film with a knife. If necessary, smooth the edges again with a rubber spatula.

Who makes smart glass?

How to choose the best brand for installing films?

As we said at the beginning of this article, for films to fulfill their functions completely, you need to be careful and choose the best brand on the market. When deciding, you need to focus on some factors, let’s see some of them:

  1. Technology used

There are many technologies applicable in the production of films. Thus, each type of film indicates for a specific purpose. Searching for brands that prioritize innovative technologies is the best way to achieve the expected results.

  1. Diversity of films

In the previous topic, we saw that there are different types of films, each with a different technology. Choosing a brand that can offer this diversity is important, as it raises the quality and confidence in the service offered.

Application quality of electric glass

It is not enough that the film has an innovative technology; the application process must flow with the utmost seriousness and efficiency. If not, the lifetime of this film, as well as the fulfillment of its functions, ends up being affected.

Product and service guarantee

The best film brands have extended warranties, taking into account the specifics of the space and the type of film chosen by the customer. When choosing, discard those who do not offer guarantees. This is a way to protect your investments in that service.

Effectiveness to understand your demands

Each customer has their own expectations. Likewise, each environment has its specificities. Taking into account the characteristics of the environment and the demands of the customer is something that every good brand should offer. So, choose the one that listens to your needs and offers an ideal type of electric glass for you.

Conclusion

For modern designers and interior designers, there are practically no barriers to creating durable, easy-to-use and functional partitions. But, taking high-strength triplex as a basis, the technologist can supplement it with the stylistic properties that window glass possesses in the classical presentation. In particular, we are talking about light transmission and transparency.

At one time, the consumer surprises by the combination of these qualities with some modifications of the electric glass. As for the new material, it allows not only to combine conflicting performance properties, but also to adjust them in accordance with specific design requirements.
